The journalists told the head of the Moscow Metro Ivan Besedin. According to him, this is done in order to simplify the purchase of tickets and reduce long queues.

Besedin recalled that after the introduction of new tariffs on the subway at the end of the past - the beginning of this year the number of ticket sales dropped by 30%. While Muscovites began to buy tickets for a large number of trips, and loss of time in queues decreased.

"Since last year we started active development and implementation of tariff menu. Number of people standing in line at the ticket counter, also decreased by about this figure - 30%, "- said Besedin.

Head of the Moscow Metro also reported that free Wi-Fi in all metro lines will be connected to the end of the year. According Besedina, it will create a comfortable environment for passengers during the trip.
