Kiev. Ukrainian army today announced that on Friday spurned assault on the airport in Donetsk, which was carried out despite ceasefire in eastern Ukraine, reported AFP.
"On Friday, many rebels with reinforcements of six tanks committed assault against the airport in Donetsk, which was heroically repelled by the soldiers," said Chief of Staff of the forces involved in the operation in the eastern regions of Ukraine.

G7 vowed to put Russia in a more cost

Leaders of the G-7 announced that they are ready to impose more sanctions on Russia for its actions in Eastern Ukraine. They gathered at the two-day meeting in Brussels, which began yesterday evening with a working dinner. 

"We condemn the continuing violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine by the Russian Federation," they said in a joint statement. "We are ready to strengthen specific sanctions and consider significant additional restrictive measures
