BEIJING, May 20. / ITAR-TASS /. U.S. Ambassador to China Max Bokesa summoned to the Foreign Ministry, where he was made solemn representations in connection with allegations of cyber espionage that the U.S. put forward in relation to the five Chinese military officials. This is stated in a statement released by Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Such accusations are "a serious violation of international cooperation and undermine the mutual trust between the U.S. and China," the statement says. According to Geng Yanshena, the U.S. tends to follow the "policy of double standards with regard to cybersecurity." He said that in recent years the Chinese military structures also suffer from foreign cyber attacks, which mainly come from the United States. Geng Yanshen urged Washington to act honestly and to take concrete measures in order to build a stable relationship between the two countries and their armed forces.
